Enfant-terrible since May 26th 1985. I manage my own brand THESIGN as creative director, and I teach & work as tutor for thesis at IED Moda Lab, a fashion school in Milan.
How did you first become interested in fashion creative direction?
Since I started to dress up by myself, I HATED homologation and to dress like other kids. We are all different, so it should be right to look different too. My approach to what we can call “Fashion” started from a need to be different. Working on a research of a mix of styles to fix on myself, and still continues on a never ending curiosity.
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
I enjoy creating and drawing + hand make my creations. I love to color the sketches. It’s a kind of “paper procreation”.

Now I’m working on the new, upcoming Fall/Winter 2017 Collection, and on some new fresh items to add on our own E-commerce www.thesignrepublic.com
What are the challenges in what you do, and how do you overcome them?
Nowadays there are many challenges for me, and I overcome them with 3 words: Patience, passion & hard work. Staying focused on the main goals isn’t easy, the cause needs strength and sacrifices.
Could you describe your personal style?
Afro, Bohemian, Boho-chic, Hippie, Bon Ton, Country, Rasta, Hip-Hop, Dandy, Gothic, Sadomaso, Grunge, Garage, Hipster, Navy, Preppy, Punk, Rock, Skater, Street, Urban, Indie. Put all together, add colours, some fantasy, a smile…That’s my style.

What music are you listening to at the moment?
2 The Sky (Metatron’s What If There’s No End And No Beginning Mix)
Which artists or designers inspire you?
I get inspirations from real life. From what I see and “absorb” from outside. So if I go to see an exhibition, for sure it will leave a sign in my mind… By the way, if you want I’ll give you 3 names: Dalì – Warhol – Schiele.
What is the purpose of art, in your view?
It’s the contemporary life seen from the eyes of somebody special. To be an artist needs sensibility, so looking at any kind of art, should open the mind to another point of view, to another “world”. I can say that art is a mirror, and the mirror has 1 and only purpose.
How do you spend your free time?
I have many passions that I try to alternate into my full time work: I like practice sports with friends, go to the cinema, chill at home watching a movie, make collages….But the two main passions that I practice when I have free time are Photography & Sex.
