What was the situation in which this photo was taken?

It was accidentally taken, after I came home from a party me and my friend went to.

Could you tell us something about what you do?

I work as an Optician in Austria.

How did you first become interested in Optometry?

I really wasn’t that interested in it at first. Here where I live you kinda have to choose between school and work. So I chose to work. And here I am working as an Optician. I really love it though.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

The customers for sure. There are some shy, crazy, funny, confused, angry and sweet ones, you have to advise. I once had a women that was probably 45+ years old, she literally flirted with me, asked me to give her my number so we can “go out” because She thought I looked handsome! Yikes.

What are you working on at the moment?

I always wanted to be a model for some reason. My mom once told me, every time she took a picture of me when I was younger, that I would always pose funny because I really loved it when someone was taking a photo of me. I still love taking pictures :D! So I would love to start modeling. We shall see.

What are the challenges in what you do, and how do you overcome them?

The key to delivering in what you do is to dissect the challenge into a number of smaller steps. Each small step can be viewed as a short-term goal. Sadly nothing in life is handed over on a silver platter. You have to be patient.

What is your present state of mind?

When life puts you in tough situations…Don’t say: “Why me” Just say: “Try me”.

What music are you listening to at the moment?

I’m usually always listening to the 20’s but at the moment: “Kanye West – Saint Pablo”.

Which artists or designers inspire you?

Kanye.

What is the purpose of art, in your view?

Life would be lost with out the arts, crafts, expression, dance, music, etc. Even love can be artistic! Art is art.

How do you spend your free time?

I love visiting my whole family that live in my area. Sadly my family is all over the world. Some are in Sweden, Bosnia, Slovenia, Germany. I would be glad to visit my friends in Sweden again. Next year for sure.
